Career aptitude test: the first building block
With the help of college counselors and other business professionals, we at CollegeRover have developed a free career aptitude test which consists of eighty-four questions for non-traditional students to use in determining the next step in their continuing education. Non-traditional students range from people who have taken a break from schooling to those who have never attended a higher education class. This career aptitude test allows prospective students to rate their interest, experience, and enjoyment of various activities along a continuum in order to determine the best college to choose for career placement. Test questions are the first building block on the road to figuring out a list of colleges. After this personal assessment, we move on to help in choosing a few prospective careers, and the degrees that match up with these end goals. From there, we determine the list of colleges that offer these degrees and meet up with your other needs, from flexible class times to fully online college classes and programs. Continuing education has never been this easy.
More on the career placement test
Our assessment scores users for a grade of interest in seven personality categories. These categories of interest are artistic, communication, interpersonal, managerial, mechanical, mathematic, and science skills, for careers in administration, management, the sciences and more. For determining career aptitude, test questions center around a person's own goals. We know that people perform best at tasks they enjoy, so this is the basis for our career placement test. Based on the answers you give, we will match you with possible careers in your database. You then choose what you would like to pursue, and we provide you with degree matches, and the institutions that offer these degrees. It's just that simple.
